As a star-struck college graduate, still hyped off of presenting my branding campaign to Victoria’s Secret, my dream was to work at a badass agency straight out of college. So I did. I traveled to some unique places, created award-winning advertising campaigns and met some really cool strategists and artists. 

Then one of my colleagues said “hey, sustainability is pretty cool, you should try it.” So I did. I changed companies and took on multiple energy-efficient clients. Next thing I know, I’m guilt tripping neighbors into recycling, hoarding my used coffee grounds for compost and researching solar panels. 

One day, in true Mariah fashion with too many scoops of ice cream in her bowl already, I thought “Let’s make these worlds collide!” And Bold Collective Co. was born, an earth-friendly outlet for my creative soul. Our products must check our “BOLD” box either by design, name or scent, because if it’s not bold it’s just another candle!

Our essential oil blends are carefully curated for maximum aromatherapy benefits. We use 100% soy wax, pure cotton wicks, natural essential oils and recycled paper label. We even have plans to create a reusable jar program, where customers will receive a discount code to use on new Bold Collective Co. candles for being part of the solution and not the pollution.

So yeah, that’s our story. We hope to add more to our “collective” one day, but for now follow us, smell a candle, light it up and enjoy!
